Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles linked with Man United move
Arsenal FC utility man Ainsley Maitland-Niles is being linked with a move to Manchester United.
The 23-year-old moved to West Bromwich Albion on a loan deal in January after finding it hard to break into Mikel Arteta’s team and with the Sam Allardyce men already relegated, he is set to return to his parent club when the season ends.
According to Daily Mail, United is looking for reinforcement with the right-back being a priority with the 23-year-old who managed 12 Premier League appearances for West Brom said to be one of their targets.
The reports stated that United head of transfers Matt Judge have added Niles to his list of potential targets ahead of the transfer window with the player, who has already received an England cap, said to be of interest to the team following his versatility.
The player is said to be frustrated over lack of playing time at Arsenal and will be keen on a move in the summer with other teams said to be watching the proceedings at the Emirates.
The players have in the past been linked with a move to both Leeds United and Southampton with a move away from England also said to be a possibility.
