Davido’s Lawyer Finally Reveals Who Wrote And Produced Hit Single ‘Jowo’ For His Client
Davido’s lawyer, Prince Bobo Ajudua, has finally cleared the air on who wrote the hit track “Jowo” following a controversy over the song.
Recall that a young man recently called out popular Nigerian singer, Davido, accusing him of stealing the hit track Jowo off his ABT album from a colleague, Victor AD.
Although Victor came out to quell the rumor, Davido’s attorney in a recent tweet also shed more light on the drama and gave more details about the song.
According to Davido’s lawyer, contrary to the rumors peddling around, the hit song was written by David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido and Oladeinde Okubajo. “As far as I know, Jowo was performed by Davido, written by David Adeleke & Oladeinde Okubajo aka @Davido & @Deindeofficial and prod by Jerry Jethro & Peter A. Kehinde Emmanuel aka Napji & Majicboi. That’s as far as I know. Don’t shoot me I’m just the guy that did the paperwork”. He tweeted.

This is coming after DMW signee and Nigerian singer, Peruzzi, finally responded to claims that he is the mastermind behind most of Davido’s songs.
Since Peruzzi signed with Davido’s DMW, there have been claims that he worked a double shift as the de facto songwriter for Davido, and this has been a constant topic on social media debate. In an interview with Beat99.9Fm, Peruzzi revealed that it’s not such a bad practice.
